Illinois rabbi and author comes to Iowa City May 15

IOWA CITY (KWWL) - Author Rabbi Brant Rosen of Evanston, Illinois, will make a trip to Iowa City next week.

Rosen will speak at the Iowa Memorial Union, Iowa Theatre Room 166, on Thursday, May 15. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

The event is sponsored by People for Justice in Palestine and Amnesty International.

Rabbi Rosen is the Rabbi of the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation in Evanston Illinois. He's also the author of "Wrestling in the Daylight: A Rabbi's Path to Palestinian Solidarity," and serves as the chairperson of the Jewish Voices for Peace Rabbinical Council.
