REINBECK (KWWL) -

Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds will be in Reinbeck Thursday afternoon as a part of Governor Terry Branstad's Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Advisory Council.

The town hall meeting is designed to showcase student presentations, get feedback from community members on setting STEM priorities and updating the progress the advisory council has made.

"Having the opportunity to engage with the students, parents, educators and workforce who are directly impacted by the Council's work is extremely rewarding and eye-opening," explained Reynolds in a written statement. "These stops around the state will give us a look at the successes and the opportunities for further growth in the future."

The public is welcome to the town hall at 2 p.m. at Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School, located at 600 Blackhawk Street in Reinbeck.
