U.S. Senate candidate Mark Jacobs to hold event in Cedar Rapids

Posted: Updated:
CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mark Jacobs plans an event in Cedar Rapids Thursday afternoon.

A meet-and-greet is planned at the National Czech & Slovak Museum and Library.

Jacobs is running against Sam Clovis, Joni Ernst, Scott Schaben, and Matt Whitaker in the Republican primary June 3.

The winner of that race will run against Democratic U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley this November for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Sen. Tom Harkin.
