Bill Cosby to perform in Cedar Rapids on Oct. 4

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - Comedian, television star and best-selling novelist Bill Cosby will present a stand-up show in Cedar Rapids this fall.

Cosby's "Far From Finished Tour" comes to the Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m.

The last time Cosby was in town was for a sellout show at the Paramount in November 2012.

Cosby is best known for starring in "The Cosby Show" in the 1980s and 1990s. He was also on "I Spy," created and produced "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids" and released several stand-up albums.

"Far From Finished," the television special, aired on Comedy Central last fall.

Cosby's current bestseller is "I Didn't Ask to Be Born, But I'm Glad I Was." He has been honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, the Kennedy Center Honors and the Marian Anderson Award.

Tickets are $50, $67 and $80 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
