Asbury residents to see rusty, low pressured water

Posted: Updated:

Customers living in Asbury may experience rusty colored water and low pressure for a few weeks.

The city will be flushing fire hydrants May 19 through June 6 2014, and advise that you no use water softeners or purification systems.

The water is safe to drink, but caution should be taken when doing laundry to prevent staining of clothes.

If you experience low water pressure, leave faucets closed until pressure is restored.

If you have any questions,  call City Hall at 556-7106.
