Fourth man pleads guilty in Latasha Roundtree killing in 2012

Another person has pleaded guilty in the slaying of a former women's basketball standout from Cedar Rapids.

Online court records say 19-year-old Jeremiah Ellis withdrew his plea of not guilty after making a deal with prosecutors.

On Monday, Ellis pleaded guilty to conspiracy, intimidation and being an accessory.

Three other young men already have pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the Sept. 22, 2012, fatal shooting of 19-year-old Latasha Roundtree, who had played for Cedar Rapids Washington.

Investigators say the defendants conspired to shoot at a vehicle they knew was headed to a party. Roundtree was in the car.

All four are expected to testify against 20-year-old Tajh Ross, who has pleaded not guilty to a murder and other charges. Prosecutors say Ross shot Roundtree.
