5-year-old killed after being struck by car in Osage Saturday

A 5-year-old child has died after being struck by a car in Osage on Saturday.

The Iowa State Patrol says the crash occurred around 11:45 a.m. Saturday at an intersection.

The patrol says the boy was in the roadway when he was struck by a car driven by Isabelle Spitz, 73, of Osage.

The boy was identified as Kuper Malmin of St. Ansgar.

The crash is being investigated.
