Cinco de Mayo fiesta takes place in downtown Dubuque

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Many celebrated Cinco de Mayo just a couple of days early in Dubuque Saturday. The Multicultural Family Center in Dubuque hosted a Cinco de Mayo fiesta in downtown Dubuque. The celebration was a way for many to get out, enjoy the nice weather and learn more about the Mexican heritage through live music, games and food.

"We want to invite people to be together and learn more about the Mexican culture, to discover that it is much more than food, spice, good people, and more." said Dora Serna, the event supervisor with the Multicultural Family Center.
