Black Hawk County woman escapes Des Moines facility

DES MOINES (KWWL) -

The Iowa Department of Corrections says a woman convicted of first degree burglary in Black Hawk County in 2005 has been placed on escape status.

Lisa Lynn Key, 36, was sentenced to 25 years in prison after being convicted of first degree burglary in connection with a 2005 home invasion in Cedar Falls.

After being placed on parole, Key was ordered to work release after some parole violations.

Key is a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5'6" tall and weighs 204 pounds. She has tattoos on her left ankle, right shoulder and both wrists.

Anyone with information on Key's whereabouts should contact the Des Moines Police Department or Polk County Sheriff’s Department.
