Black Hawks look for sweep in Sioux City

Posted: Updated:
The Waterloo Black Hawks won the Anderson Cup for the best record in the USHL this season.

Waterloo has continued its strong play with five straight wins so far in the postseason.

After sweeping Sioux Falls in the first round---

The Black Hawks take a two games to none lead into Friday's game against Sioux City with a chance to sweep the Musketeers on their home ice.

If the first two games are any indication--the Black Hawks expect another tough physical matchup against the Musketeers.

Waterloo won both games at Young Arena by taking advantage of Sioux city's over zealous play--and untimely penalties. The Black Hawks scored five of their six goals so far in the series on power plays. And now Waterloo needs just one win in Sioux City to advance to its 2ndt Clark Cup final in three years.
