UPDATE: One dead after weekend crash

Cedar Rapids police have released the name of a man killed in an accident on Saturday.

Officers were called to the intersection of Wiley Boulevard and 31st Avenue SW just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday for a reported crash between a car and a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, 47-year-old Arthur Fuller, died at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics on Sunday. A passenger on the motorcycle, 51-year-old Stephanie Fuller remains at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics where she is being treated for serious injuries. Both were flown to Iowa City after initially being taken to Mercy Medical Center.

The driver of the car, 38-year-old Leonard Lawson, was not injured. A passenger in the car, 51-year-old Anasthase Almeida, was treated at a local hospital.

No charges have been filed and the accident remains under investigation.
