The employer of an Iowa woman says she has died of her injuries following a tornado in southern Iowa Sunday, making her the second storm fatality from the weekend.

Pam Ledger worked at Cambridge Investment Research in Fairfield.

Cindy Schaus, vice president with the company, released this statement Tuesday, reading in part, "We at Cambridge are deeply saddened by the passing of one of our associates, Pam Ledger, as a result of the recent storms across Iowa. Pam was a member of Cambridge’s extended family for more than five years, and she will be dearly missed. Our hearts and minds are with Pam’s family and friends on the loss of their loved one."

Schaus also released a photo of Ledger that, she said, "has been authorized for media use by her family."

While the Keokuk County Sheriff's office would not confirm Ledger's name, a dispatcher at the office did confirm that there are now two fatalities from Sunday's storms.  Earlier information from the sheriff's office indicated a person with severe injuries after being trapped under a barn near Martinsburg, in the southern part of the county.

We're told the other victim is Angie Hanchett, who worked as an office manager at Mercy Family Medicine in North English for nearly 20 years.

The National Weather Service says Sunday's EF-1 tornado traveled 44 miles, beginning in Wapello County, and ending near Cosgrove in Johnson County.
