Cedar Valley Infertility Support Group Holds Open House
The Cedar Valley Infertility Support Group held their second annual open house Monday night at Allen College in Waterloo.
KWWL's Shelley Russell was the emcee at the event Monday, for the group that, along with support, lends advice and options to couples that may be experiencing infertility.
"The infertility journey can be a very isolating experience sometimes it's hard to understand what you're going through." Said Andrea Dellit, the facilitator of the group. "Is it normal? Are other people going through this and where do you find people who are going through this? Because it's a very private experience for most people. "
The event takes place during National Infertility Awareness Week, which runs April 20th through April 26th. For more information on the organization check out the Cedar Valley Infertility Support Group website: http://www.cviplsg.com/
