TONIGHT at 10: 'Field of Dreams' still a dream for Dyersville

DYERSVILLE (KWWL) -

The iconic baseball movie 'Field of Dreams' premiered 25 years ago, in 1989, and the movie's popularity and success still bring people to Dyersville.

The movie was filmed mostly in Dyersville and throughout Dubuque County and Galena, Ill.

To this day, the movie site in rural Dyersville attracts thousands of movie lovers and sports fans every year, even though it's nothing more than a simple baseball field in a corn field.
