Dubuque's River Museum to host Blacksmith Days

The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium will host their annual Blacksmith Days on May 3 & 4, 2014.

According to the press release, the annual event highlights the important of metal working and blacksmithing along the Mississippi River during pioneer times.

The weekend will feature several working blacksmiths, metal working demonstrations, metal crafts, and children programs. Visitors will also be invited to see the inner workings of the living blacksmith shop at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium.
