TRIPOLI (KWWL) -

A Waterloo man faces drug charges following a traffic stop in Bremer County on Wednesday.

The Bremer County Sheriff's Office says 37-year-old Robert Raymer, Jr. was pulled over just before 6 p.m. Wednesday in Tripoli for an unspecified traffic violation.

Deputies say there was an underage girl in the vehicle with him.

Raymer is charged with conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance to a minor, possession of a controlled substance, prescription drug violation, driving while barred and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Raymer was held in the Bremer County Jail until Thursday when he was seen by a Bremer County magistrate. He was released after posting a $3,000 bond.

Detective Dave MacDonald says the girl was not charged and was released to her parents.
