WATERLOO (KWWL) - The Waterloo Black Hawks scored 3 third period goals for the second straight night as they took down Sioux Falls 6-3. Waterloo will take a 2-0 series lead as they head on the road next week.
After trading goals with the Stampede through the first 2 periods, the Black Hawks took their first lead of the game with 0.6 seconds left in the 2nd period. Blake Winiecki centered the puck to Patrick Russell as Waterloo's top regular season goal scorer sent it home.
Jake Horton, Zach Sanford, and Tyler Sheehy all found the back of the net in the third to seal the deal and send Sioux Falls back home with a 2-0 series deficit.
