Polling and survey center to open at Loras College in Dubuque

DUBUQUE (AP) -

An anonymous donor has helped fund the establishment of a polling center at Loras College in Dubuque.

The Public Opinion Survey Center will conduct periodic professional polls on political and social questions. Officials also hope the polling will increase national attention for the Catholic liberal arts college and attract more student interest.

The Telegraph Herald reports the center is currently conducting its first statewide poll on the races in Iowa's June primary election.

Some Loras faculty and students will work with a survey research team to develop poll questions. They'll also analyze and interpret data.
