Johnson County launching Votemobile

JOHNSON COUNTY (KWWL) - Soon Johnson County voters will have a new way to vote absentee. The county will begin using a Votemobile as a satellite voting location in May.

The Rural Health and Safety Clinic of Johnson County's trailer will park outside the 1st Avenue Hy-Vee in Iowa City on May 18 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The May 18 site is the only planned outing for the Votemobile for the June 3 primary but officials they hope to do multiple Votemobile locations for the November general election.
