An eastern Iowa woman is accused of stealing more than $100,000 from her employer over the course of a year and a half. North Liberty police say Peggy Ashby is accused of slowly stealing from the business’s sales intake and falsified deposit records on an almost daily basis at her employer, CarePro Liberty Pharmacy, from December 2012 to March 2014. Police arrested Ashby on Sunday on charges of first-degree theft and ongoing criminal conduct. A preliminary hearing is set for April 28.
