DUBUQUE (AP) -

A Dubuque medical group has donated $150,000 to help high school students pursue careers in health care.

The Medical Associates Clinic Foundation of Dubuque says $50,000 each will be given to three area high schools over the next three years.

John Tallent, the group's CEO, tells the Telegraph Herald they're concerned about the future supply of health care providers.

School officials say the money will be used to update medical equipment and tools used for teaching.
