Waterloo Schools won't use Good Friday as snow day

Posted: Updated:
Waterloo schools will have class into the 2nd week of June this year. That's because the district has decided not to use Good Friday as a make up date because of snow days.
School officials say there will not be enough substitute teachers available to cover all the teachers planning to be gone that day.
That means the last day for Waterloo students will be June 9th.
