Cedar Rapids asking for Cedar Crossing Casino support

Posted: Updated:
CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - The City of Cedar Rapids wants residents to show up to support the Cedar Crossing Casino when the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission comes to the city.

The IRGC is visiting Cedar Rapids on April 3 for a site visit and public comment session. That's two weeks before commissioners decide whether they'll issue a Linn County casino license.

Mayor Ron Corbett and the city council will share how residents can help on a meeting Monday. That meeting will be held on the lower level of City Hall.

The IRGC's public comment session will held on April 3 at 10 a.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cedar Rapids Convention Complex.
