PLAINFIELD (KWWL) - A fundraiser is planned to help the owners of Plainfield Welding after the business was destroyed in a fire on Wednesday night.

The fundraiser is scheduled during the annual Plainfield Days celebration.

Committee members for Plainfield Days have decided to donate 25 percent of the free-will donations to the Plainfield Welding and Repair Shop, a business that has been in town for more than 30 years.

The supper fundraiser will be held on Friday, April 4 at Plainfield Methodist Church from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
