One man was taken to the hospital after police say he was stabbed by another man Monday night in Cedar Rapids.
Harris Ceaser III, 26, no known address, was arrested after a brief foot pursuit and charged with interference with official acts and other unspecified federal warrants, according to the Cedar Rapids Police Department.
Police say Ceaser ran from officers as they were conducting a search of the area, and he may be given other charges later.
Police responded to a call just before 11 p.m. Monday that a person had been stabbed in the 1800 block of A Avenue NE in Cedar Rapids.
When they arrived they found a male adult who had been stabbed. He was taken to an unspecified hospital where his condition is unknown, according to police.
