CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Linn County Sheriff's Office says weather is to blame for an accident that sent a Cedar Rapids woman to the hospital Monday night.

Sergeant Richard Yoder says at around 9:39 p.m. Monday a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Sarah Moore was on the ramp from eastbound Highway 30 to 16th Avenue SW when the vehicle went off the road and rolled before coming to rest back on its wheels.

Moore was taken to St. Luke's Hospital to be treated for her injuries. She is expected to recover.

A passenger, 80-year-old Marles Moore, was not injured.

Yoder says both were wearing their seat belts.
