UPDATE: 15-year-old's death investigated in Tipton

TIPTON (KWWL) -

Police are investigating a boy's death after officers found his body Sunday morning in Tipton.

Tipton Police say they were asked to check on 15-year-old Keifla Thomas Robinson just before 11 a.m. at a home in the 500 block of East 5th Street.

They say they found Robinson's body upon arrival.

The Iowa State Medical Examiner's Office performed an autopsy at 9 a.m. Monday and concluded there was no trauma to the body.

Cause and manner of death are pending further test results, according to the Tipton Police Department. Officials said they will release additional information on the autopsy when it becomes available.

Tipton Police, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the State Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the death.
