Linn County authorities looking for assault suspect

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office and Linn County Crime Stoppers are asking for your help in finding a man they say assaulted a woman near Alburnett.

Major Gerald Hansel says a man burglarized a home north of Alburnett on March 6 and assaulted a woman in the process.

The man is described as a white male, in his late teens to early twenties, approximately 5’10” tall, 180 pounds with shorter dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black long sleeve t-shirt, gray sweat pants, and light colored tennis shoes.
