Wahlert steamrolls way in to 3A title game

DES MOINES (KWWL) -

Dubuque Wahlert left no doubt on Thursday night.  The top ranked Golden Eagles rolled over Harlan 67-36 to advance to Saturday's class 3A championship game.

Jared Walker led the way for Wahlert with 19 points.  Big man Cordell Pemsl added a double-double finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Defensively the Golden Eagles held Harlan to just 20 percent shooting in the game.

Dubuque Wahlert will go after their first state title in 6 years when they meet Central Dewitt on Saturday night.
