Dunkerton advances to 1A title game

DES MOINES (KWWL) -

Dunkerton got the job the done.  The Raiders defeated Belmond-Klemme 53-49 to return to the class 1A state title game for the first time since winning it all in 2004.

Trevor Jacobsen led the way for the Raiders with 20 points in the game.  Jacobsen hit on all 4 of his 3-point attempts in the first half.

Dunkerton led by as much as 16 in the game.  Belmond-Klemme cut it down to 4, but got no closer as the Raiders will get their shot at the third championship in school history.

Dunkerton will face West Lyon in Friday's title game.
