WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A bill that would keep minors from being able to buy e-cigarettes is moving to the Senate.
The bill, which would create a clear definition of an e-cig and prevent those under age 18 from buying or using them, was approved unanimously by the Senate Human Resource Committee on Wednesday.
E-cigarettes are commonly used by smokers trying to kick the habit, but are gaining popularity with teenagers.
Currently in Iowa, there are not restrictions on the sale of e-cigs.
