City of Dubuque to host webinar on marketing for artists

The City of Dubuque and the Arts of Cultural Affairs Advisory Commission will be hosting a webinar for independent artists on March 19.

The webinar is called, "Building Arts Marketing Skills for Independent Artists," and is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday in Conference Room B at City Hall, 50 W. 13th St., in Dubuque.

According to the press release, the webinar is specifically designed for independent artists and will address essential questions about the marketplace, such as how to find new buyers, how to identify a target market, identifying emergence or new markets, and how artists can stand out among their competition.

The webinar is free and open to the public.
