NEW HAMPTON (KWWL) -
Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing New Hampton high school student.
Ashlee Ruhl, 16, was last seen Friday, March 7.
Ruhl is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 115 pounds. She has blue eyes and dark blond hair.
New Hampton Police Sergeant Steve Stalder said Wednesday that police have been receiving multiple tips and are tracking all leads.
Stalder would not confirm whether Ruhl has a history of running away or whether he believed she was in any danger.
He also would not confirm if any searches were taking place.
"We're doing what we can," he said.
Anyone who knows Ruhl's whereabouts or has seen her since Friday morning is asked to call New Hampton Police at (641) 394-3241. The phone number that has been circulating on a poster being passed around social media is incorrect.
Tipsters can also call the Chickasaw County Sheriff's Office at (641) 394-3121.
