WATERLOO (KWWL) -
Don't be surprised if someone snaps your picture on a street in Waterloo.
Chris Schwartz is the founder of "Humans of Waterloo," a Facebook page dedicated to showcasing the stories behind people in the city.
"The whole city has a story," he said. "I sit here in my office, and I see interesting people walking by all day long, and I think, 'Everybody here has a story.'"
Schwartz said he took note of the popularity of the site, "Humans of New York," which has more than 3 million followers.
"Sometimes a photograph will catch you, and there's obviously deep meaning behind that, but this project has maybe opened my eyes up a little bit more just to really kind of question and wonder what story is behind everybody," said Schwartz.
Schwartz said he hopes the Facebook page will help showcase diversity in the city. ?
