Kennedy Boys upset North Scott for trip to State

CLINTON (KWWL) -

The unranked Cedar Rapids Kennedy boys basketball team earned a trip to the 4A State tournament with a 46-43 upset victory of 4th ranked North Scott in a substate championship game in Clinton.  The Cougars (18-5) handed North Scott (21-2) just its second loss of the season.  Kennedy will play Sioux City North next Wednesday night (March 12th) in Des Moines.
