Two people facing charges following house search in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - An early morning search initiated by Marion and Cedar Rapids Police led to a couple of arrests and the discovery of stolen equipment.

Police searched a house on 2833 3rd Ave. SE Monday morning at 6 a.m. During the search authorities found numerous construction tool equipment, firearms and the remnants of a methamphetamine lab.

Following the search, 33-year-old Ian Andreas was charged with First Degree Theft and two counts of Burglary in the 3rd Degree.

In addition, 33-year-old Amy Brandt was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Both are in the Linn County Jail.
