General Motors expands recall

General Motors has added nearly 600,000 more vehicles to a recall to fix faulty ignition switches that can shut off you engine and cause a crash.

The faulty switches are being blamed for causing 31 crash resulting in 13 front seat deaths.

GM says the recall now includes nearly 1.3 million vehicles built. 

The recall involves Chevrolet Cobalts, H.H.R's, Pontiac G5s, Pursuits, Solstice, Saturn Ions and Saturn Sky's built between 2003 and 2007.
