A Cedar Rapids man was injured Tuesday morning when the minivan he was driving ended up in a ditch and rolled over.
Linn County Sheriff's deputies were called to the intersection of Roosevelt Street and East Otter Road, just west of Alburnett, at around 5:16 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies say 25-year-old Charles Ray was headed west on Roosevelt Street when he lost control of the minivan. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled over, coming to rest back on its wheels.
Ray was taken to St. Luke's Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Sergeant Harvey Hall calls Ray's injuries "non-life threatening."
Hall says Ray was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
Charges are pending, and the accident remains under investigation.
