Waucoma drug bust lands three in jail

Two Iowans and a Minnesotan are in jail following a drug bust in Waucoma on Monday.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at the home of 42-year-old Dwight McDougald located at 104 2nd Street SW in Waucoma on Monday following a month long drug investigation. Deputies say they found marijuana, meth, cash and drug paraphernalia inside the home.

McDougald is charged with distribution of the controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and gatherings where drugs are used and possession of drug Paraphernalia. The sheriff's office says McDougald also was wanted on an outstanding warrant from South Carolina for probation violation.

Deputies also arrested 24-year-old Natasha Linn Coonradt of Windom, Minnesota and 30-year-old Eli Edward Shaw of Monona.

Coonradt is charged with possession of the controlled substance marijuana and methamphetamine. Shaw is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three were taken to the Fayette County Jail.
