UNI wrestlers finish perfect

NORFOLK, Va. (KWWL) -

It came down to the final match, but UNI heavyweight Blaize Cabell got the job done defeating Matt Tourdot 7-4 as the Panther wrestlers survived at Old Dominion 21-19.

The win secured UNI's perfect 13-0 season, the best in school history.

In Saturday's match, the Panthers got the job done, despite some issues along the way.  UNI won only 4 of the 10 matches contested, but pins from 125 pounder Dylan Peters, 133 pounder Joe Colon, and Cooper Moore at 165 gave them enough bonus points to put them over the top.
