LINN COUNTY (KWWL) -

Two people are hurt after a crash west of Cedar Rapids Saturday afternoon.  The Linn County Sheriff's Office says it happened just before 3 p.m. in the 5600 block of Ellis Blvd. NW.  They say a driver failed to negotiate a turn, entered the ditch, then became airborne.  The vehicle then came to rest across a fence in the timber on its top.  26-year-old Marcus DeVore of Cedar Rapids and a passenger, 20-year-old Katie Havel of Cedar Rapids were taken to a hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.  Deputies say charges are pending.
