Dubuque officials searching for dog after biting incident

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The City of Dubuque's Health Services Department wants to find a dog after a reported biting incident Friday morning.

The incident took place around 7 a.m. Friday on W. 27th Street between Jackson Street and White Street.

The dog is described as medium-sized, short-haired with black fur and white markings on the chest and head and floppy ears. The dog was wearing a black collar.

The Health Department wants to find the dog to verify its health and vaccination history.

Anyone with information can contact the Health Services Department at (563) 589-4185 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. or the Law Enforcement Center at (563) 589-4415 after hours or on the weekend.
