Boil advisory for parts of Iowa City lifted Saturday morning
IOWA CITY (KWWL) -
The precautionary boil advisory for people living west of Riverside Drive and University Heights in Iowa City is now lifted.
The advisory was issued Thursday, February 20th after a water main break on Capitol Street near Lafayette Street happened Wednesday evening.
According to the City of Iowa City, testing of two sets of water samples completed by the State Hygienic Laboratory has confirmed the Iowa City tap water meets all standards and is safe for drinking and cooking.
