Oelwein authorities share information regarding frozen water service lines

Posted: Updated:
OELWEIN (KWWL) - The bitterly cold temperatures are having an impact on the water line service for some customers and residents in Oelwein.

In a release on Monday, police say they are treating these service problems as if they were a "severe weather event"

Police say you should check your water temperature on a daily basis. If your service is interrupted authorities say you should contact City Hall.

However, it may take several weeks in some cases before water service is restored.
