Plow driver taken to hospital after plow goes off the road

BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) -

A Department of Transportation plow driver was taken to the hospital after his snow plow went off the roadway Monday morning.

The Iowa State Patrol says Dean Bahe of Waverly was driving a plow north on Highway 63 when the plow went into the ditch. A trooper said Bahe appeared to have crushed his vertebra.

What caused the crash is still not clear.
