Officials seek information in Cascade armed robbery

The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on an armed robbery they say happened Friday morning in Cascade.

Capt. Bob Lynn said the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office and Cascade Police Department responded around 5:30 a.m. Friday to a home in the 300 block of Polk Street in Cascade, on a report of an armed robbery.

Lynn said the homeowner reports a person armed with a handgun and wearing a ski mask took her purse as she was walking into her detached garage. The victim was unharmed.
