ASBURY (KWWL) -

Valentine's Day is a time to spend with loved ones, family and friends. On Friday, a Dubuque funeral home brought together more than 150 women to celebrate love and remember the loved ones.

This is the second year, Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home and Cremation Services have sponsored the free luncheon for women who are missing their sweethearts.

Delphine Dolter lost her husband six years ago to the day, on Valentine's Day.

"I started out pretty bad this morning, but I'm getting better." Dolter said during Friday's Luncheon.

This is the second year Dolten has spent her Valentine's Day with other women who are also missing their sweethearts. The afternoon featured, lunch, games and other entertainment.

Officials with Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home and Cremation Services said this year attendance doubled at the luncheon.
