Hawkeye Women get 20th Win

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -
Iowa beat Illinois in the annual pink game to move to 20-6 overall, and 8-4 in Big Ten play. Iowa is in a stretch where it plays three games in seven days. The Hawkeyes continue action at No. 23 Purdue on Sunday at 1 p.m. (CT).     Tonight's victory gives Iowa its eighth 20-win season under head coach Lisa Bluder, and its sixth in the last seven season     The Hawkeyes have won 8of its ;last 10 overall, and three straight.     
 
 Iowa leads the Big Ten in overall victories (20), The Hawkeyes are 12-3 at home this season.
  Freshman Ally Disterhoft has tallied double-digits in her first seven career starts (24 at Ohio State, 15 vs. Indiana, 13 at Minnesota, 12 vs. Nebraska, 24 at Penn State, 11 vs. Nebraska, 13 vs. Illinois). Iowa is 6-1 when Disterhoft starts.
 Disterhoft notched her second career double-double tonight (13 points, 10 rebounds).
       Iowa has had three or more players score in double figures in each of the last 25 contests, including four in the win tonight over Illinois (Doolittle 16, Disterhoft 13, Melissa Dixon 11, Theairra Taylor 11).
