Benton County man sentenced to 4 years for selling 'ice'

BENTON COUNTY (KWWL) -

A Benton County man will spend nearly four years in federal prison for selling “ice” methamphetamine from his home.

Kenneth Gragg, 54, of Garrison, pleaded guilty on Dec. 2 to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm as an unlawful drug user.

According to the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Iowa, Gragg admitted to selling the drug to a confidential informant on two different occasions in 2012.

A search warranted executed at his home in 2013 turned up quantities of methamphetamine, which Gragg admitted he planned to sell.

Officers also found a shotgun at the home.

Gragg was sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison and fined $5,000.
