CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Takele Cotton scores 18 for Wichita State as the Shockers won their 25th straight game defeating UNI 82-73.

Matt Bohannon led the way for the Panthers with 17 in the loss, while Seth Tuttle chipped in 16.

UNI trailed the Shockers by 6 at the halftime break, but came out strong in the second half.  Marvin Singleton's jumper capped a 6-0 run to pull UNI within 1, 43-44.  Wichita State countered, however, as UNI couldn't get over the hump.

The Shockers became the first team to open a season 25-0 since the 2007-08 season.
